Preparing for YogA Nidra/sound bath

Find a comfortable place to lay down. You can be against a wall in a reclining position, reclining, or laying flatter. The surface can be on the floor, couch or a bed. If on the floor be sure to find padding - yoga mat, blankets, etc.

Gather props and items to encourage comfort: bolsters, blankets, rolled towels, eye covering, candles or Essential Oils.

Get Comfortable:

  • Dim the lighting

  • Light a candle and/or diffuse some calming essential oils

  • Put support under knees like a rolled-up towel/blanket or a bolster.

  • Add a pillow or folded blanket under head

  • Cover up with a blanket

  • Eye covering (eye pillow, eye mask or slight shawl)

  • Use of headphones is encouraged
