Glenda is a registered psychotherapist whose journey began on the East Coast, on the unceded lands of the Mi'kmaq people. Her unique path to psychotherapy was shaped by an earlier successful career in marketing and business, where she developed a deep understanding of systems and human behaviour. However, it was her profound personal encounter with death and grief that transformed her perspective and ultimately led her to her current calling.
Through her own journey with grief—which became not just an experience but a teacher—she began exploring the deeper questions of existence. Her time spent with the dying, often in quiet bedrooms and hospital rooms, offered glimpses into what she calls the Great Mystery, validating an inner knowing she had always carried.
After completing her psychotherapy training in Toronto, Glenda worked as both a death doula and psychotherapist before transitioning to virtual practice. She currently serves clients across Ontario and Saskatchewan, bringing together her diverse expertise as a:
Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #7809)
Member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Practitioners (OAMHP)
Member in good standing with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA ) as a Certified Mindfulness Teacher - Professional (CMT-P)
Death Doula
Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT-500, eRYT-200, YACEP)
Group Facilitator and Educator
Her approach draws from multiple therapeutic modalities, and she maintains an active commitment to expanding her knowledge through ongoing education and research-informed practices. Glenda's work is characterized by her ability to create safe, nurturing spaces where clients can explore their inner landscapes and embrace their authentic selves.
Currently living primarily in Regina, Saskatchewan, with her husband Aaron, Glenda maintains strong connections to her professional and personal communities. She is a mother to a grown daughter and stepson and finds joy in continuous learning and travel. Her practice reflects her deep understanding that healing often lies at the intersection of professional expertise and lived experience.
