Psychotherapy

Therapy provides a safe space to heal from the past, connect to your inner wisdom, and transform your life.

Understanding Therapy

Therapy is a supportive journey toward personal growth and healing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or simply seeking deeper self-awareness, therapy can help. Through embodied psychotherapy, we explore how your body, mind, and emotions interact, fostering resilience and clarity.

We focus on integrating somatic awareness and contemplative practices to help you reconnect with yourself. This holistic approach is designed to empower you to navigate life's challenges with greater ease.

Glenda is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #7809). She is also an active clinical member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Practitioners. She works with clients in both Ontario and Saskatchewan.

All sessions are held via Zoom.

Video-Based Therapy/Counselling

Long before this global pandemic introduced many to online services, Glenda began offering video-based counselling and found it to be a very effective way to do therapy. And the research backs up her experience. The research to date has shown no significant difference in the therapeutic working alliance developed online vs in person.

Relationships are built on connection. Trust can be built online as it can in person. Technology today allows for secure video-conferencing that provides real-time visual and audio connections. All that is required is a reliable Internet connection; a phone, iPad or computer; and a setup that allows for privacy. Headphones are helpful too.

Online therapy sessions can provide an alternative to in-person sessions for those:

  • who travel or aren’t always able to come to an office,

  • who have mobility or accessibility issues,

  • who live in a community where access to resources is limited,

  • who resonate with a therapist that doesn’t live close by,

Online therapy allows for more flexibility for both the therapist and clients. My clients receive the same level of service, confidentiality, and support.
