These are the parts that Yung Pueblo refers to as "the best parts of you," and they deserve to be celebrated and nurtured.
So, how can we give these best parts of ourselves more room to thrive?
1. Self-Reflection: Take time to reflect on the different parts of your personality. What are your strengths, passions, and values? What brings you joy and fulfillment? By gaining a deeper understanding of these aspects of yourself, you can begin to prioritize and amplify them in your life.
2. Cultivate Awareness: Practice mindfulness and self-awareness to become more attuned to the various parts of yourself as they arise. Notice when certain parts feel more prominent or when others may be holding you back. Notice how different “parts” illicit different sensations in our body and bring up different thoughts and stories. By shining a light on these different aspects, you can begin to integrate them more harmoniously into your life.
3. Integration: Instead of viewing our various parts as separate or conflicting, strive for integration and wholeness. Embrace the complexity of your personality and recognize that each part has something valuable to offer. Find ways to honour and integrate these different aspects into your daily life, allowing them to coexist and complement each other.
4. Take Inspired Action: Once you've identified your best parts, take inspired action to give them more room in your life. Whether it's pursuing a passion project, setting boundaries to protect your well-being, or surrounding yourself with supportive relationships, find ways to nourish and amplify the aspects of yourself that bring you joy and fulfillment.
